As Multi-passionate, Ambitious, Dreamers, we often find ourselves juggling multiple high-level projects simultaneously. The constant decision-making and multitasking can take a toll on our mental well-being and lead to passive stress accumulating in our body, slowing us down. That's why I'm here to introduce you to a game-changing practice – the 30-minute daily break.

The Importance of Taking a Break:

Why a Break?

Picture this: You're in the midst of a whirlwind of tasks, and your brain is buzzing with decisions to make. It's time to hit the pause button. Scheduling a 30-minute break every day can be a game-changer for your stress levels and overall well-being.

Now, I know a lot of you, (like myself sometimes!) might feel like 30 Minutes is TOO MUCH to add to our routine!

Then break it up!!! Set up 5 - 10 minute breakers in your schedule throughout your day. It becomes less overwhelming and easier to manage and get around!

Prepping for a Stress-Free Break:

One of my best tips for a Stress-free break is to prepare for it ahead of time. This way you don't have to give your brain more decisions to make, but can rather just pick whatever you feel would help the most!

Here are some ideas for you -

  1. Curate Playlists: Create a selection of playlists that resonate with you – whether it's calming tunes or your favorite tracks that transport you to a happy place.

  2. Cinematic Escapes: Dive into scenes from relaxing movies. Think Studio Ghibli's enchanting worlds in films like "Howl's Moving Castle" or the timeless charm of "My Neighbour Totoro."

  3. Mindless Games: Engage in games that don't require intense focus. It could be a quick round of your favorite mobile game or a simple puzzle.

  4. Digital Detox: Disconnect from the digital noise and scroll through your phone aimlessly. Sometimes, a bit of mindless scrolling can be surprisingly refreshing.

  5. Quality Time: If you have pets or kids, spend this time bonding with them. A little cuddle session or playtime can do wonders for your mood.

  6. Self-Care: Consider getting a quick massage or engaging in other self-care activities that bring you relaxation and joy.
